THIS COULD BE A RE-EDIT I SUPPOSE... I'M JUST NOT THAT
UP ON ELECTRO BOOGIE MUSIC. HOWEVER, IT SOUNDS TWEAKY
ENOUGH TO BE SOMEONE TRYING TO EMULATE THE CLASSIC EARLY
'80'S FLAVA AND GETTING IT PRETTY MUCH SPOT ON. IF YOU
LIKE DISCO OR HOUSE THIS'LL SLIP INTO YOUR SET LIKE
AN ABSOLUTE DREAM WITH IT'S FUNKY STABS AND SYNTHY BASSLINES.
QUALITY GEAR.

Well there’s a title to conjure with –
Bumper opt for a splatch funk interpretation which is
distinctly 1983 in its heritage, and actually a pretty
decent recreation of that moment when Cybotron seemed
unapproachable as the most futuristic record we’d
never heard. An electro-funk party record, with the
emphatic word being partt-ayy. “Tuff groove”
shares many of the same classic boogie ingredients,
and fills a useful part of the funk vacuum for another
few minutes.
